We’ve had so many great pups looking for homes and we wanted to share some info about their moms with you These loving moms took such great care of their babi...es while they were battling an illness themselves. Unfortunately, all these momma dogs have heartworm disease which is one of the most painful, deadly, and costly parasitic diseases and it’s caused by a mosquito bite Fortunately, it is also one of the easiest to prevent which is why we stress the importance of year round heartworm prevention It’s that easy and yet so many people skip it Heartworm cases are on the rise not only down South but up here in New England. Please talk to your vet about monthly chewable tabs or the 6 month pro-heart injections and get your pup protected today! Our southern rescue partners at Paws and Claws Humane Society not only help take care of these amazing moms during and after pregnancy, but they also ensure they are spayed and are doing everything they can to help treat these moms for heartworm....so that they can get healthy and eventually find their forever homes just like their babies Treatment is expensive so any help you can offer will help give these wonderful deserving mothers a chance at their happy, forever after and is greatly appreciated: https://www.pawsandclawshumanesocietymcgehee.com/ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts All your friends @ Pawfect Life Rescue
