Many families travel from their home country to receive life-saving care here at Boston Children’s Hospital. In some scenarios, they bring nothing but the clothes on their backs. They need to find housing, clothing, and a means of travel which can be very complicated and costly. Thanks to social workers like Olga Perez, who was honored at the 2018 Gala, families receive the support they need.
